Why I’m Running

It’s personal. It’s patriotic. And it’s time.

Our National Anthem

For some, The Star-Spangled Banner is just a song.
For me, it’s a memory I carry—of courage, fear, and freedom.
This is the moment I remember every time I sing it.

“I see the colors. I smell the smoke. I feel the chill from the water. Then I see the the flag, and I remember why we fight.”

I’ve Lived the Squeeze

I’m a mom of four.
I’ve lived through the system’s failures.
I’ve watched township politics choke out common sense—and families like mine.
I’ve stood in those rooms, asking questions, and hearing silence in return.

That’s why I’m running.
Because we can’t afford to be ignored anymore.

Local Boards Have 5% of the Power. I’m Going for the 95%.

Local Boards Have 5% of the Power. I’m Going for the 95%.

I’ve served on our local school board. I’ve done what I could with the restrictive state level policies that a board has—but what I’ve learned is this:

Real change happens in Harrisburg.

And unless we send people there who actually live with the consequences of bad policy, we’ll keep getting the same results.

The voices of small counties, working families, and forgotten communities won’t be heard until someone fights for them from the inside.
